🎉 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT – UNDER 14s (2026) 🎉We’re excited to announce that David Chick will be leading our Under 14s for the 2026 season!David brings passion, energy, and a genuine love for developing young players. He’s committed to building a strong, connected group where every kid enjoys training, grows their skills, and feels proud to wear the Three Colours badge.2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for our U14s — and we’re pumped to have David at the helm.Let’s go, Three Colours! 🔴⚪🟢—🔻 Q&A With Coach DavidQ: What are you most excited about for coaching the U14s in 2026?A: I’m really excited to keep developing the current U14s group that I spent last season building from the ground up. I can’t wait to see how far they’ve come after all the work they’ve put in during the off-season. I’m also looking forward to welcoming the U12s moving up — they’re going to complement the squad really well. Last year we started with just 7 players, and now we’re shaping up to have around 20 for the new season. It’s going to be a massive step forward for the team.Q: What’s one thing you want your players to take away from the season?A: The biggest thing I want every player to take away is the bond they build with each other — and with all the parents involved. We’ll be a close family both on and off the field, and I always make sure everyone feels included and part of the journey.Q: How would you describe your coaching style?A: I make sure I’m always approachable for both players and parents whenever they need a chat. I like to train the team hard and challenge not just the physical side of the game, but the mental side as well. We regularly stop to reflect on what we can improve and what we’ve done really well — it keeps everyone growing together. … See MoreSee Less
Hi, I’m Rocco — I’ve been part of Three Colours Soccer Club since 1982, and this place has been woven into my life from the very beginning. My father served as club president and is now a proud life member, so I grew up around the green-white-red and the strong community spirit that comes with it. Decades later, I’m still here for the football, the friendships, and the legacy that runs through my family and this club.—“Coach Rocco, what’s the secret to keeping the U12s smiling and winning at the same time?”“Simple — make sure every kid loves coming to training. If they’re having fun, learning something new, and feeling proud of themselves, the winning takes care of itself. Smiles first, results second — but funnily enough, that’s how you get both.”—“If the 3 Colours U12s could be described in three words, what would Coach Rocco choose?”“Heart. Discipline. Family. They play with passion, they work hard for each other, and they care about the club and the colours.”—“What moment in your coaching career has made Coach Rocco the proudest of his team?”“There was a game where we were down at halftime — tired, frustrated, and a bit overwhelmed. But the boys didn’t drop their heads. They encouraged each other, fixed what needed fixing, and came out stronger. They didn’t just come back to win; they showed maturity, unity, and belief. That moment wasn’t about the score — it was the moment I realised what kind of young people they’re becoming.” … See MoreSee Less
🟢⚪🔴 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT – U12s Division 1 🟢⚪🔴Three Colours SC is excited to announce Jon Evans as the U12s Division 1 coach for the 2026 season!Jon brings a positive, player-focused approach into the squad, with a strong emphasis on developing confidence, encouraging teamwork, and helping young players grow both individually and collectively. He creates a supportive environment where kids feel comfortable learning, improving, and enjoying their football.Alongside coaching, Jon will also be lacing up the boots for our Over 35s team next season.—A bit about Jon’s coaching approachHow do you balance keeping training fun with still teaching structure and good habits?“Celebrate the team effort, and recognise individual strengths! Keep the drills quick and snappy, and finish with mini-games. Drills build structure and games build strength. Above all else, respect is non-negotiable.”What’s one habit you wish you’d learned earlier as a player that you’d like to pass on to the U12s now?“One thing I wish I learned earlier is to slow down—not physically, but mentally. Slow your mind, keep calm, and look around. Losing the ball or missing the shot once in a while, while trying to take the right one, doesn’t matter if you’re losing it every time by being frantic and rash!”—We’re thrilled to have Jon leading our U12s Div 1 squad.Let’s go, Three Colours! 🟢⚪🔴 … See MoreSee Less
